Johnny Vander Meer (1938), Allie Reynolds (1951), Virgil Trucks (1952), Nolan Ryan (1973) and Max Scherzer (2015) are the only pitchers to throw two no-hitters in the same regular season. Roy Halladay had a perfect game in the 2010 regular season and threw a no-hitter in the postseason.

He finished his 14-year career with a 145-119 record and a 3.63 ERA over 571 appearances, including 293 starts.
