“Like I said in spring, I’ve got a real positive outlook at the cornerback position,. I think Jaylon’s obviously done a good job and I think we’ve got a real seasoned vet in Trufant, who’s able to show his skillset. Kindle’s been coming along and he’s shown that he’s proven that he’s earned the right in this league to stick around through his performance in games last year.” — Sean Desai, Bears defensive coordinator

Predicted to win gold at the 2016 Games, the team took home bronze, marking the 11th time the American women had tried — and failed — to become Olympic champions.
On the other side of town, Sox fans are reveling in a team that’s skating to an American League Central title and just acquired the most dominant reliever in the game, closer Craig Kimbrel, who, by the way, was one of the assets let go in the Cubs dump. When Kimbrel runs out from the Sox bullpen to face his former team, the Cubs probably won’t be playing his theme song, “Sweet Child O’ Mine.”

The hurdle was located right after a sharp turn, and the wrestler’s wedgied backside was the first thing in sight for horse and human.
“I think everybody here wants to win gold for them, for us, for everybody that’s started this streak that got us here,” Griner said. “You know there’s a lot of different reasons why we want to win this gold medal. So I think you’re going to see some really good basketball in the gold medal game.”

A towel covered the seat so they wouldn’t stick to the hot cushion; support staff put icepacks on their heads, or wrapped them in wet towels.
Although a small sample size, Hoerner has shown he can handle center field, and his offensive profile and defensive ability could be a good combination. Hoerner indicated Thursday that he’s open-minded about playing different positions. In the last two years, Hoerner has logged innings at second, shortstop, third, left field and center field. It could be useful to give Hoerner playing time around the diamond to gain more big-league innings and add to his experience before 2022.
