A black Jeep traveling south in the 1500 block of West 74th Street ran a red light at 12:38 a.m. Sunday and T-boned a vehicle with two people inside, according to Chicago police. The driver of the car that was hit, an unidentified male, was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. An unidentified female, who was also in the car that was hit, also suffered trauma to the body and was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition, police said.

A 52-year-old woman suffered a facial wound, a 19-year-old man was shot in the right arm and a 20-year-old woman was hit in the left leg. All three of those victims were listed in fair condition. A fourth victim, whose exact age was not immediately known suffered a leg wound and was in serious condition, police said.
