Fastly is a content-delivery network, or CDN. It provides vital but behind-the-scenes cloud computing “edge servers” to many of the web’s popular sites. These servers store, or “cache,” content such as images and video in places around the world so that it is closer to users, allowing them to fetch it more quickly and smoothly.
Things began to change in 2017, when pop superstar Rihanna launched her Fenty Beauty makeup line. In two years, it became one of the top 10 selling beauty brands, alongside decades-old brands such as Mary Kay and L’Oreal-owned Urban Decay, says market research firm Euromonitor. Other companies took notice, adding more shades for darker skin or promising to give more shelf space to Black-owned brands in stores.

About 10:20 p.m., state police responded to reports of a highway shooting on southbound Interstate 94, just north of 130th Street, police said. The shooter reportedly emerged out of the sunroof of a vehicle and shot a man driving another car in the leg, police said.
“It’s an honor being inside this building where his impact was directly felt, carries over into the history of our organization,” Judge said. “A coach around the league that worked together and had a lot of good relationships, have a lot of respect for his son (John), just all the respect in the world for what they are doing, and obviously our thoughts and prayers are with his family and the impact he made here for the Giants. On June 3, 2021, members of the Lake County Sheriff’s Special Investigations Group conducted a search warrant at the Round Lake residence of Angel Lopez, 21, of the 1300 block of Coventry Glen. Detectives located nearly 200 grams of cocaine, over 20 MDMA pills, over 10 alprazolam pills, along with scales and other items used to package drugs, according to reports.
