“If the McCaskeys are saying, ‘This is it.’ I would say, ‘Hell, then let me go get Russell Wilson because I don’t have time to wait on the young guy.’ They may feel they’re one player away, I don’t know. If they do, then Russell was the play. He would make it better for them. Nagy, like most offensive-minded coaches, thinks he’s smarter than everyone else in the world. All of them do. Our guy does. All offensive-minded head coaches think that way. I’m not killing him. It is what it is. Now, you have to see what he can do with Fields.”

“I joke with other superintendents that led during a different time, and I always say life is different with social media,” Jackson said. “I think the biggest positive is you can communicate with more people, I’m able to be accessible. You know, I’m on social media, that’s really me, I respond to people. … And as a result, they trust you more. … During my time being a public figure, I’m sure I can count some things that people said that I didn’t like, but in general, I take it with stride. Sorry to nudge you – I know things have been crazy – but please let me know if I’m still invited. If not, no worries, and I’ll send love and good vibes to you on the day.”

He’s throwing a lot of changeups for strikes, and then he has that wipeout slider. He’s getting that curveball over for strike one a lot. The way he’s going right now, there’s nothing I can do wrong almost back there.”

“Whenever we went and played in arenas where they had fans, it was refreshing, especially to interact with some of the people and hear the crowd noise,” LaVine said this week. “Some trash talking or the cheers or whatever it is, just having that atmosphere in basketball is great. With your home fans and the city being back here, it’s going to be great. Very excited to at least play some games back at the United Center with our fans there.”
