“I joke with other superintendents that led during a different time, and I always say life is different with social media,” Jackson said. “I think the biggest positive is you can communicate with more people, I’m able to be accessible. You know, I’m on social media, that’s really me, I respond to people. … And as a result, they trust you more. … During my time being a public figure, I’m sure I can count some things that people said that I didn’t like, but in general, I take it with stride. Like, I know my character. I know who I am.”
