Under strain, UChicago Medicine Ingalls hospital gets medical workers from federal government

The workers, who arrived at the hospital Monday, include doctors, pharmacists, nurses, paramedics and other specialists, who are part of a National Disaster Medical System team from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The team will help the Harvey hospital for two weeks, at the state’s request.
