Cantlay lived up to the “Patty Ice” moniker. He slipped in a birdie putt of 21 feet, 9 inches on the par-4, 476-yard 18th hole to tie DeChambeau and force a playoff. The team is scheduled to hold workouts Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at AT&T Stadium before taking a break heading into the regular season, according to the person who spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity because the club wasn’t discussing its plans publicly. The Saints are supposed to open at home Sept. 12 against the Green Bay Packers.
Patrick Wisdom’s spur-of-the-moment mustache won’t be going away for now. Wisdom sported the new look when he arrived at Guaranteed Rate Field on Friday and then clobbered two home runs that night on his 30th birthday.
