“My time here, for sure, the off-schedule plays show up,” Bears defensive coordinator Sean Desai said. “But quite honestly, they’ve shown up over the past month, also on tape. On tape it doesn’t seem like it’s limiting him much in terms of the way he wants to play the game, the way he wants to throw the ball, where he wants to get it, when he can escape the pocket, and he’s still making plays that way. We’re prepared for the same Aaron Rodgers that we’ve been preparing for for a long time.”
“I don’t know when or who is coming back on what dates,” coach Billy Donovan said after the game. “My feeling right now (is) we’re going into Miami with the same group, and if we don’t compete at a higher level, we’re going to get the same result we got here tonight.”

I texted with Jenna Badali about working out, and we had a 4-on-4 scrimmage with a couple of Lewis girls, girls from the neighborhood, and just kind of worked on our game together.

Jenkins knew Allen well, both on the field and in the clubhouse. They first met at Class A Williamsport, Pa., in 1962 after Jenkins, then 19, signed with the Phillies out of Canada. They were briefly teammates in 1963 at Triple-A Little Rock, Ark., where the Phillies sent Allen to break the color barrier in the state.
