Hester, who played the first eight of his 11 NFL seasons with the Bears, was one of 10 Hall finalists to have his bubble burst. The others were Jared Allen, Torry Holt, Reggie Wayne, Andre Johnson, DeMarcus Ware, Patrick Willis, Willie Anderson, Ronde Barber, Zach Thomas.
“This group has mutual feelings about where we’re at, Billy included, and our players,” he said. “Our record, 34-21, is pretty good in the East, and we’ve done it short-handed. In order to add players, we’re just going to use our injured reserves, the ones that are going to come back, and I think we’re going to be a good group getting Zo and getting Alex and getting Patrick and getting Derrick back.

“We thought, 20, 21 days, whatever we had in 2020 was a problem for us,” Manfred said, referring to the pandemic-shortened schedule. “The injury data supports that idea. We’d like to be 28. I’m trying not to be hard and fast. But we think more like four weeks makes sense.”
“The cool thing about it is, I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone have as much fun on the ice as that guy,” Strome said. “He’s always yelling, he’s hugging his post, he’s rubbing his post, he’s doing all sorts of things out there. … It’s fun to be around. It gives you a little confidence boost when you’re on the ice when you hear him cheering for himself after he makes a save.”
The Nets have agreed to a deal to send Harden, the All-Star guard and 2018 NBA Most Valuable Player of the Year, and veteran forward Paul Millsap to the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for Ben Simmons, Seth Curry, Andre Drummond and two future first-round picks, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
