“We all see the eclipse basically at the same time, so the question is how high is the moon in the sky for you when it starts,” she said. “The farther west you go, the higher it will be. So in Central time, we won’t get to see all of (the eclipse). In Mountain time it will begin at 3:44 a.m., in Pacific time it will begin at 2:44 a.m. If you’re in Hawaii, the moon will be higher in the sky, so you’ll get to see more of it.”
