Mega Millions Jackpot rolls to $630 Million

What To Do If You Strike it Rich!

The jackpot for the multi-state lottery game Mega Millions has grown to an estimated $630 million for the next drawing on Friday, July 22.

If won, this would be the fifth largest Mega Millions jackpot ever won in the history of the game.

With over 7,000 Illinois Lottery retailers across the State, it’s convenient for players to pick up a ticket at a local store. Players can also purchase a ticket online through the Illinois Lottery website, IllinoisLottery.com, or the Illinois Lottery app.

Every lottery ticket purchased is a win for the State. Thanks to Illinois Lottery players, the Lottery has contributed over $23 billion in funding to the Common School Fund to support K-12 education.

About a quarter of every dollar spent on the Lottery goes to schools and other good causes – that’s a big win for the two million Illinois public school students and their families.

Mega Millions is played every Tuesday and Friday night, with the next draw taking place on Friday, July 22 at 10 p.m. (CT).  Mega Millions tickets are $2 each, and players can add the Megaplier for an additional $1 for the chance to multiply non-jackpot prizes.
