HATTIESBURG, Miss. — For more than 15 years, Hattiesburg’s own DJ Kujho has been the heartbeat behind some of that region’s events. He honed his craft as he turned up crowds at basketball, baseball, and other events at the University of Southern Mississippi. It’s clear Kujho, also known as the ‘The Good Vibes Ambassador’, has built a reputation for keeping crowds engaged, energized, and turnt up.

However, in a twist of fate, DJ Kujho will bring his vibrant sound and huge energy to The Rock for the very first time when Southern Miss’s first home game will be against none other than Mississippi State, of the Southeastern Conference.

While DJ Kujho has shown he can command stadiums in the Southeastern Conference, his blends have established him as one of the best crowd motivators in sports.

DJ Kujho’s visit to The Rock could not have come at a better time. With a new head coach, a rejuvenated team, and anticipation building across campus, DJ Kujho placed inside the student section is the final ingredient to elevate the atmosphere on game day.

“This is more than just a gig for me — it’s personal,” Kujho shared. “Southern Miss has always been a part of my story, from the students who showed me love to my grandmother, who worked in the USM cafeteria for 30 years. To finally step into The Rock and bring the vibes to a place that means so much to me and my family… it’s a full-circle blessing.”

Known as a community staple and student favorite, DJ Kujho is not only a DJ — he’s a cultural connector. His presence is the dawning of a new era for Southern Miss football. More importantly, it crystallizes the growing role of DJs as essential elements of sports entertainment across the country.

As the Golden Eagles take on Mississippi State in their season home opener, fans can expect more than just football. They can expect a party and a live atmosphere.
