There have been other crushing moments on the trip, including when Jordan broke a bone in his left foot in a game against the Warriors in Oakland, Calif., on the first game of the trip in 1985 and when Derrick Rose tore his right meniscus in Portland in 2013, ending his comeback after he missed the 2012-13 season.
