Officials said 2,995 are hospitalized in Tokyo, about half the current capacity of 6,000 beds, with some hospitals already full. More than 10,000 others are isolating at home or in designated hotels, with nearly 5,600 waiting at home while health centers decide where they will be treated. Tokyo is also setting up a facility for those requiring oxygen while waiting for hospital beds.

Dosunmu, 21, a Chicago native who starred at Morgan Park, led the Illini to the Big Ten Tournament title and a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament last season. He was a consensus first-team All-American and won the Bob Cousy Award as the nation’s top point guard.
Doyle, who grew up in the central Illinois town of Boody, played 15-a-side rugby at Eastern before being introduced to the sevens at Chicago North Shore club during her senior year in college. Though she has played center for most of her career with the national team, she switched to fly-half to take advantage of her passing ability.
Cunningham attended the draft wearing a dark suit, shirt and tie with sparkles on his collars and cuffs. When the pick was announced, Cunningham kissed 2-year-old daughter Riley, sitting on his lap, then hugged family members and took the stage alongside NBA Commissioner Adam Silver to don a blue Pistons hat.
According to two people with knowledge of the deal, the Lakers are trading Kyle Kuzma, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Montrezl Harrell to Washington for Westbrook, who is a Los Angeles native and helped lead UCLA to a pair of Final Four appearances. The Lakers have the 22nd pick in Thursday’s draft.
