“It’s just literally going back to work, going back to work, going back to work,” Fields said. “That’s it. Sometimes you can’t control things in life. And you’ve just got to keep doing it, keep doing it, keep doing it. That’s what I’m going to do. Just keep going.”
Fans in Section 330 watch the San Francisco 49ers and Chicago Bears at Soldier Field on Oct. 31, 2021. The Bears sold 26,000 permanent seat licenses, or PSLs, priced between $765 and $10,000 each, to help fund the 2003 renovation of Soldier Field. While many of those seats have changed hands in the secondary market, thousands of PSL owners now face the prospect of their investments expiring worthless if the team packs up for a new stadium in Arlington Heights. “His defense, he’s a quick small forward, big wing guy that matched up with Julius Randle, Jayson Tatum, guys like that. So we’re going to have to do a better job of helping each other on defense. We’ll miss him a lot in that area, and his rebounding has really been beneficial for us too.”

The franchise’s decision-makers, whoever that may be, had previously appeared content to wait until the outcome of Scott’s trial to make a decision on his future.
“That said, we understand and respect the NCAA’s decision in this matter, and we will move forward accordingly. As always, Kofi’s attitude and outlook remain upbeat and positive. He is focused on helping his teammates prepare for the season, and we can’t wait to have him rejoin us on the court.”
“He played on time and on rhythm,” Nagy said “His decision making was excellent. Maybe one or two plays here or there, but that goes for any quarterback, let alone a rookie. He also made special plays. That fourth-and-1 play that he made (running for a 22-yard touchdown), credit their defense for making a good call. It wasn’t there. And Justin made a play I think we’ll all remember for a long, long time.
Plagued by instability at quarterback, unimaginative offensive play calling, draft busts and free-agent flops, the once-proud franchise is mired in one of its longest runs of mediocrity since the 1960s. The Broncos haven’t had a winning record since 2016, three coaches ago.
Marshall players celebrate after defeating East St. Louis-Lincoln for the Class AA basketball title on March 27, 1982, in Champaign. The title was coach Dorothy Gaters’ first of eight at Marshall, and the 1981-82 squad was her only team that finished undefeated. (Dave Nystrom / Chicago Tribune)
“I know I reported every single detail to an individual at the NHLPA, who I was put in contact with after,” Beach said during his interview Wednesday on TSN in Canada, his first since coming out as John Doe. “I believe two different people talked to (NHLPA head) Don Fehr. And for him to turn his back on the players when his one job is to protect the players at all costs, I don’t know how that can be your leader. I don’t know how he can be in charge.”
