Kyrie should get vaccinated. He should’ve been vaccinated months ago, if not sooner, because the science is clear on its safety. If nothing else, Irving can send a positive message of personal responsibility to the community’s health. He’s the highest-profile holdout in the NBA and, like it or not, a symbol of heroism to the anti-vaxxers. And since Irving hasn’t coherently explained his stance, the message is left up to interpretation. To me, it’s just defiance for the sake of defiance. Irving’s a noted contrarian telling the world, “Nobody can tell me what to do.”
After the Bears complete their GM and coach search, Phillips, who has been in his role for 23 years, is shifting his responsibilities to turn much of his attention to running the Arlington project. The next GM will report to McCaskey instead of Phillips, to whom former GM Ryan Pace reported.

Over the past three seasons, there were 655 home runs hit at Camden Yards. In all, 57% of the home runs hit at Camden Yards since Elias and Mejdal took over the Orioles’ front office and launched a full-scale rebuild have been hit by opposing teams.
Both sides would increase the minimum salary, players from $570,500 to $775,000 this season and management to a series of tiers: $600,000 for players with less than a year of big league service, $650,000 for at least one but less than two and $700,000 for at least two.

“The hiring of Ryan Pace and Matt Nagy, I don’t regret that,” Phillips said. “They both brought a lot to the Bears.
