Vahooman Mirkhaef, who goes by the nickname “Shadow,” was charged in a criminal information with one count of bribery conspiracy. An arraignment is scheduled for Nov. 16, but defendants charged via an information, instead of by grand jury indictment, typically intend to plead guilty.
But Kennelly explained that Gonzales made Madigan’s “deceptive tactics a central issue in his campaign” and news outlets publicized the allegations. Such publicity “placed the alleged misconduct squarely within the political realm, enabling voters to rebuke Madigan by electing his challenger,” Kennelly wrote.
After driving past Rittenhouse, Moretti and his partner provided a police escort to the hospital for Gaige Grosskreutz, one of the men shot by Rittenhouse. Grosskreutz, who survived the shooting, suffered such a severe wound to his arm, he needed to be airlifted to a Milwaukee medical center for treatment.
The defense, however, is allowed to present evidence, if it exists, of the three men engaging in violence that night. Though no witnesses have linked Huber or Grosskreutz to violent acts before the shooting, several have portrayed Rosenbaum as behaving erratically, lighting a dumpster on fire and swinging a chain at various points.

It’s going to take a really focused effort to get the jury to focus on what happened here, but those outside factors are going to have an impact on the jurors’ decision-making process.”
Chicago public health commissioner Dr. Allison Arwady said there will be over 200 vaccination sites across the city on Nov. 12 but did not offer more specifics. “Give children socio-emotional support, healing spaces, and strong athletic, music and arts programs. And the mayor and her Department of Public Health must do more than the status quo in providing ease of access to vaccinations, which still has our eligible student population vaccination rate under 50 percent.
“My 5-year-old told me yesterday, ‘Papi, the slide got burned down and I can’t go down the slide anymore,’” Torres said. “It hurts me as a father. It’s just a slide to anybody else but to me, it’s my son not being able to go down the slide that he worked hard for to have recess.”
