Joskar Ramos, 18, and Thomas Lopez, 21, both of Joliet, and Jeremy Lopez, 19, of Lockport, are being held at the Will County Adult Detention Facility on $10 million bond, according to a news release from the Will County Sheriff’s Office. The Lopez brothers were arrested Tuesday. Ramos, who was charged this week, has been in police custody since Nov. 5 on weapons charges.

“As was stated today in committee, partisanship was a factor in drawing the sub circuit maps. Our caucus will not assist in any effort to corrupt our judicial system through partisan gerrymandering,” McConchie said. “If the Democrats want a power grab of our courts, they can do it on their own. The judicial branch, above all, should be held to a higher standard than this sort of politicization.”

In an update to the Tuesday announcement, Benet Academy Head of School Stephen Marth said in a statement that “contrary to some reports circulating in the media earlier today, know of our steadfast commitment to ensuring that the Academy will maintain its Catholic identity, in the Benedictine tradition, for years to come.”

“It’s been amazing just what’s happened,” Donovan said. “Right before Christmas, I said, ‘Oh this is going to be good, we’re going to get our guys coming back.’ And then I went down and couple other guys went down and it’s like, all right, I probably misspoke that day. … A lot of our guys had to deal with this and I’m hopeful that at one point we can get really, really whole as a team. I just don’t know when that’s going to be.”
