At least three officers spotted a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix, of which Callion was the driver, only occupant and registered owner, commit a minor traffic violation in the area of South Albany Avenue and West Polk and let it slide before seeing Callion drive through a stop sign at South Sacramento Boulevard and Polk, prosecutors said.

Hugo Contreras, 40, of the 100 block of Mora Road, was convicted by Kane County Judge David Kliment of two counts of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child, three counts of criminal sexual assault, five counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, two counts of aggravated battery to a peace officer and one count of resisting/obstructing a peace officer.

Pending any court challenges, ballots for the Democratic and Republican primary are scheduled to be finalized by late April. But U.S. District Judge John Robert Blakey dismissed those claims, writing that the city “did not abdicate control or ownership of the OPC site to the Obama Foundation” and that state law confirms that presidential centers, like the OPC here, confer a public benefit because they “serve valuable public purposes, including … furthering human knowledge and understanding, educating and inspiring the public, and expanding recreational and cultural resources and opportunities.”

A guest at the hotel, Oracio Gonzalez, testified that he was in his car in the rear parking lot, checking his emails, when he heard two popping sounds. He looked up to see a man limping across the lot to his car, hunched over and holding one arm to his waist. Gonzalez did not identify the man as Brown, but said the man left in a gray sedan.
Early on Jan. 3, he got a call from a friend saying he had seen the car at a gas station near the Illinois 120 and Route 12 intersection. Glover drove over and saw his car nearby with the brothers inside. He followed it about a mile, until it stalled or ran out of gas, and then confronted the brothers.
