The notice issued Saturday morning on behalf of First Deputy Superintendent Eric Carter says that during the next five roll calls, which are supervisor briefings before each shift, the following message will be read: “Until further notice, the use of elective time by sworn CPD members is restricted.”

And because of the archaic NFL rules at the time, the game was being blacked out in Chicago, so Jerry came up with the idea to watch it from Peoria — far enough away from blackout restrictions. After Bob received permission from his wife to leave, and blew off a previous engagement with friends, the two fans made the three-plus hour drive on a Saturday night, checked in to a room with an old, 20-inch TV and headed down to the bar to relax.
“They all have their own strengths and weaknesses, so probably the thing we need to do as coaches is making sure we’re using those strengths, whether it’s a type of scheme in the run game, whether it’s a protection in the pass game, just to make it a little easier,” Nagy said. “You have a younger guy, like a rookie, like Khalil. Correa, who has been with the Astros since being selected first overall in 2012, will be a free agent at season’s end, and it seems likely he won’t remain in Houston. He has a history of big hits for the Astros that includes 18 postseason home runs, several of them in key situations.

But there are weaknesses to work out, Donovan said, as the Bulls had too many offensive possessions in which they weren’t flowing, sometimes affecting their defense. The team was running well offensively and took good shots that didn’t fall, then started pressing, Donovan said.
“Nice to come from behind and force overtime, give yourself some hope, but when we lose those, even in overtime, they don’t feel good,” Johnathan Toews said. “So you always have an easier time looking at the things that went wrong and things you can improve on when you don’t get two points.”
