Brought to you by Stephen Curry’s Unanimous Media, The Greatest Sports Stories Never Told explores the previously unknown tales behind some of the world’s most fascinating athletes, record-breakers and top competitors.

ABC and ESPN Sports Broadcaster,  Joe Tessitore, takes us on a journey beyond baseball diamonds, football fields and hardwood courts to uncover the lives of people who have used sports to break boundaries, fight injustice—and sometimes change the world.

From a wrongly-incarcerated artist who turned paintings of golf courses into freedom, to the forgotten baseball career of a country music legend, these are amazing sports stories that most of the media missed.

This series features the stories of the following athletes, not limited to: Aaron Taylor (NFL Champion), Waly Green (Table Tennis Pro Athlete), Chiney and Nneka Ogwumik (LA Sparks WNBA Basketball Players), Charley Pride (Memphis Red Sox of Negro American Baseball League) and more.

EPISODE 1: Point to the Sky

For as long as Stephen Curry’s been making buckets in the public eye, he’s been tapping his chest with his right hand and pointing to the sky. Fans have speculated about the significance of this gesture, which he hasn’t revealed—until now.

EPISODE 2: From Bullets to Paddles – Part 1

After Wally Green joined a gang, his life seemed headed for disaster—until he stumbled upon a paddle and a tiny plastic ball.

EPISODE 3: From Bullets to Paddles – Part 2

Does ping pong have the power to bring people together? Wally Green put that idea to the test — alone in North Korea.

EPISODE 4: Course of Justice – Part 1

How a wrongly-incarcerated man named Valentino Dixon discovered freedom through golf…without ever stepping foot on a course.

EPISODE 5: Course of Justice – Part 2

How a small group of law students—with help from Golf Digest magazine!—helped exonerate a man imprisoned for a murder he didn’t commit.

EPISODE 6: It’s Showtime! – Part 1

Aaron Taylor has a special talent for calling the action on the court—but even he couldn’t have called the crazy twists and turns in his own life.

EPISODE 7: It’s Showtime! – Part 2

How Aaron Taylor caught the attention of NBA superstar Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors.

EPISODE 8: Pitching with Pride – Part 1

Musical trailblazer Charley Pride is in the Country Music Hall of Fame. Here’s the story of the Hall of Fame sports career he almost had.

EPISODE 9: Pitching with Pride – Part 2

Country stars Darius Rucker and Jimmie Allen help tell the story of how Charley Pride went from baseball fields to concert stages.

EPISODE 10: Warrior Sisters

Meet the biggest sisterhood in basketball—the Ogwumike sisters. Respect their game and remember their name.
