A 24-year-old man died after being shot while inside his vehicle in the River North neighborhood, according to Chicago police.
Police said the man was stopped at a red light in the 800 block of N. Orleans Street at 3:36 a.m. Sunday when an unknown gunman in a white SUV pulled alongside him and fired shots in his direction. The man sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his body, police said.
The man was transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Police said no one is in custody, and that they are investigating the shooting.
