Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 36-year-old Aurora man found inside a house on the city’s far West Side early Monday morning, officials said.
Police found Isiah Ayala inside a home on the 2300 block of Candleberry Lane with multiple gunshot wounds around 12:15 a.m. Monday after receiving multiple 911 calls concerning shots fired, officials said in a news release Wednesday.
Ayala was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Police are investigating Ayala’s death as a homicide, according to the release. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Aurora police at 630-256-5500.
