National Weather Service officials issued a hazardous weather outlook Saturday morning warning of scattered snow showers into the evening leading into heavier snow, decreasing visibility in areas of northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.
Besides snow, the weather hazards expected include non-thunderstorm wind gust up to 35 mph and wind chills of zero degrees, officials said.

Current temperatures at O’Hare International Airport are 21 degrees with a high of 26 degrees expected. There is a 60 percent of light snow expected.
