A seven-bedroom, 10,350-square-foot, Victorian-style mansion on the Gold Coast that was depicted as the home of the family on the 1980s TV sitcom “Webster” was listed on May 31 for $6.5 million.
Also known for having been rented to Chicago native and former Chicago Bulls star Dwyane Wade during his stint with the Bulls in 2016 and 2017, the brick and stone mansion on State Parkway was built in the 1880s and sits on a double lot. Its current owner, real estate developer Jerald Lasky, bought it in February 2021 for $5.26 million from developer Randy Fifield and her husband, Steve.

Now, Lasky has decided to part with the mansion. The mansion was renovated under the Fifields’ ownership, which included adding a mud room and digging out the basement in order to create a theater and game room, among other features.
The mansion has 7-1/2 bathrooms, six fireplaces, original handcrafted architectural details, a full-floor primary bedroom suite, built-in desks in several bedrooms and a finished three-car garage with a 1,250-square-foot apartment above it.

Other features include a slate roof, a covered front porch, a wrought iron privacy fence, a reception hall with hand-carved woodwork and a living room with leaded glass windows, Australian lacewood pocket doors and a marble-fronted fireplace. The mansion also has 10-foot ceilings, custom draperies and a white kitchen with a built-in breakfast nook.
The mansion has had higher asking prices in the past. The Fifields had sought $9.499 million for it, back in 2016.
Lasky did not respond to multiple requests for comment. Listing agent Tim Salm declined to comment.
The mansion had a $120,076 property tax bill in the 2020 tax year.
