As county commissioner, Suffredin said he will spend the remainder of his final term focusing on the post-2020 U.S. census redistricting process currently taking place, long-awaited ethics ordinance reforms, public health and improving the courts system. In his forest preserves role, he will push for a 2022 referendum to slightly increase real estate taxes for the district, which is limited in funds because it does not have a sales tax levy.
