Bears coach Matt Nagy is among the guests slated to appear on the show. Los Angeles Chargers coach Brandon Staley, the former Bears outside linebackers coach, will also appear, as will announcers Jim Nantz, Al Michaels and Joe Buck, Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, Buccaneers linebacker Lavonte David and Arizona Cardinals safety Budda Baker.
“Sometimes the best lessons we learn are moments like that, that don’t work out for us,” Ross said. “He attacked (Hernández) with his best pitch and I love that. … Pitch sequencing and calling, all that stuff can always be second-guessed if it doesn’t work out, but I think if he executes a nice slider there, it’s a different story.
“He’s a player we’re pretty familiar with. I’ve had the chance to watch him play quite a bit. He’s a very intriguing prospect with the potential. Certainly the goal is you want to translate that potential into reality, but he’s a big kid (6-foot-3, 199 pounds), he’s got great skills, can be a dynamic offensive player and he brings the size, skill, skating.”

“I wasn’t a very good hitter in the National League,” said Lynn, who pitched six seasons for the St. Louis Cardinals. “So I was like: ‘When you think you are going to be early, you are going to be really late. So think even ahead of that.’ He was like, ‘Really?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, I promise.’ He was like, ‘You are right,’ after the game. At least I did one thing there.”
“We have no control of what those other teams are going to do, how their schedules are going to play out, who’s going to play, who’s going to sit,” coach Billy Donovan said before the game. “And to waste any time or energy on something we can’t control, to me, is a waste of time. We’ve got to focus on what we’ve got to do.”
Chase Stillman, an 18-year-old right winger and the younger brother of Hawks defenseman Riley Stillman, projects as a second- to fourth-round pick in the NHL draft, set for July 23 and 24. Riley, 23, was selected by the Florida Panthers in the fourth round in 2016, so he has been through the experience.
“I feel like we make a bomb move and it’s a travel (call), and in the NBA, you’ve got Giannis (Antetokounmpo) taking 97 steps and everybody’s like, ‘Wow, that’s amazing!’” Parker said. “I mean, it’s amazing, but can we get similar rules? I’m not saying the NBA can’t travel. I’m saying, just let the WNBA travel.”
