“He’s growing up, he’s maturing, he’s understanding all the things that we’ve talked about really for the last couple years,” Furrey said. “There’s a small increment in improvement, so he’s done great. “Just trying to manage right now because Pito (Abreu) is going to be out a few days, but we’re taking really, really, really good at-bats and we’re not missing the pitches that we need to hit,” Keuchel said. “That’s the bottom line. We’re just trying to turn the order over as much as we can. My job tonight was to go out there and get some outs. When you play like this, it’s about the most fun you can have.”
