“Obviously this isn’t our first foray into free agency with Carlos,” Hahn said. “We had a similar situations at least in terms of his rights last offseason, when we had an interest in bringing him back and (were) able to work it out then as well. We’ll see how the market unfolds. He’s coming from a much better position, which we all benefited from over the course of the ‘21 season.

“The Last Dance” was billed as an inside look at the breakup of the Bulls dynasty, but anyone with a functioning brain knew it would be all about Michael, with subplots on Jerry Krause, Dennis Rodman, Phil Jackson and Pippen. It was a fascinating look at an era we lived through and loved, and had the surprise ending of Jordan claiming they all would’ve returned to go for championship No. 7 had Chairman Jerry Reinsdorf and Krause not decided to rebuild.
Problems stopping the run are across the board. Nose tackle Eddie Goldman hasn’t played well. Akiem Hicks has missed time with a groin injury, and he’s not the disruptive force he was earlier in his career. Robert Quinn and Mack have made some nice plays against the run but also get caught flying upfield at times, which makes them easy to wash by in the run, and in the case of Quinn, he also has played with poor pad level at times. The safeties have not tackled well, a topic that has been well-covered, and the cornerbacks aren’t particularly good tacklers.
