He had five assists, one of four players with five or more assists.

In that sense, the book largely succeeds, though it would have been nice to go more behind the scenes during each championship season. Pippen’s recaps of playoff series read more like expansive box scores, lacking any new insights or stories that fans don’t already know. And in the end, that’s who will read this book — diehard Bulls fans who want to relive their team’s glory years.
“As far as us playing basketball the way we want to play and showing up and being present and trying to win every moment, that would be great for us,” Caruso said of the possibility of an L.A. sweep. “We’re coming off, not a really poor performance, but getting beat like we did in Golden State, coming back and proving we’re a better team than that, we’re resilient.
“No one wanted Jimmy to succeed more than I when I hired him in 2019, but ultimately, this change is necessary for a variety of reasons, both on the field and off,” Cohen said in a statement. “I am grateful for Jimmy’s service to Washington, and we wish him the very best of luck moving forward.”
The Lions, helped greatly by a pair of defensive penalties, moved into position for a 48-yard field-goal attempt. But Ryan Santoso, filling in for the injured Austin Seibert, saw his kick flutter well short into the open end of the stadium. Santoso also missed an extra point after Godwin Igwebuike’s 42-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.
