Boeing is planning to move its headquarters from Chicago to a Washington, D.C. suburb, the Wall Street Journal is reporting.

The move to Arlington, Va., would move the company’s executives closer to government decision makers in D.C., according to the Journal.

Boeing moved its corporate headquarters from Seattle to 100 N. Riverside Plaza in 2001, bringing about 400 employees at the time.

Chicago beat out Denver and Dallas-Forth Worth for the office, as the city and Illinois offered rich, 20-year incentive packages, the Tribune reported at the time.
