Authorities this week investigated reports of a break-in at the Highland Park estate owned by Michael Jordan, according to police and published reports.
The Lake County sheriff’s office confirmed that police requested one of their canines Tuesday at the mansion, which has not been occupied in more than a decade. Highland Park police were not available Thursday night to comment on reports that a man had been arrested in connection with the break-in.
The 56,000-square-foot home built by Jordan has been for sale more than 10 years, and it was originally listed for $29 million, though that price has been reduced several times. The former Chicago Bulls star resides in Florida.
