Sox right fielder Adam Eaton left the game before the sixth with right hamstring tightness, and reliever Michael Kopech fell after delivering a pitch in the seventh and limped off the field as third baseman Yoán Moncada caught a popup for the final out. The Sox said Kopech has a sore left hamstring and both he and Eaton are day to day.
Officers are directed not to chase anyone suspected of committing less than a Class A misdemeanor, a crime that carries a sentence of less than a year in jail, the policy states. Examples are business license offenses, parking violations or trespassing. Actual Class A misdemeanors, which do allow officers to give chase, include aggravated assault, battery, domestic battery, among others.
