“One of (the short-term goals) was to have command of the huddle,” DeFilippo said. “Show the other 10 guys in that huddle that you have some command and you’ve been working your butt off on the plays, knowing the cadence, knowing where to go with the football. It’s not going to be a very in-depth installation in terms of the amount of plays, amount of formations, shifts and motions and that sort of thing, but I want to see him (show) those building blocks of becoming a starting quarterback in the league.”
“We want to help kids realize there are things you encountered that you thought you weren’t going to get past, but you did make it through,” Gillett said. “It’s really important, as I’ve learned from working with all of these psychologists, for kids to be able to tell their own story and have that vocabulary to say, ‘There was something hard and I made it through.’ So that when they go forward and experience any number of challenges, they have that in their memories to say, ‘Oh yeah, but that was hard and I made it through that. I can do it again.’ You have agency here. You have been really brave. Those are skills that are going to equip you in really powerful ways as you move forward.”

The hackers, which the FBI said are linked to a group called DarkSide, specialize in digital extortion and are believed to be located in Russia or Eastern Europe. On Wednesday, media outlets including the Washington Post and Reuters reported that the company had no immediate intention of paying the ransom. Those reports were based on anonymous sources.
Attorney General Keith Ellison, whose office is prosecuting the officers, has said allegations that his office was involved in a leak are false. His office had no immediate comment on the allegations of coercion. A spokeswoman for Dr. Andrew Baker, the medical examiner, said they could not comment due to the pending case.

The 20-year-old was shot in the head, and he was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. He was identified as Enrique Gonzalez and died due to multiple gunshot wounds, according to the medical examiner’s office. Perez and Gonzalez both lived near where they were shot, according to records.
