“She sees the floor so well,” Plum said. “She’s basically a point guard but in a post body. So it’s been cool to have her. … We’ll look to her, whether she’s setting screens off ball or on ball, whether she’s posted up and we’re cutting off of her, she’s really directing a lot of the show. “It’s such a unique experience that no other place offers in Illinois,” said Mic Middleton, the site supervisor for the natural resources department. “We had so many people where, now they’re 50, 60 years old that said, ‘I remember going down there as a kid, and now I’m bringing my grandkids down there.’ It’s really neat to see that this little hidden gem in southwest Illinois is reopening.”
It was the third game this series with at least 40 points and 10 rebounds for Antetokounmpo, a dominant debut Finals performance that takes its place among some of the game’s greatest. Antetokounmpo finished with 35.2 points, 13.2 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game while shooting 61.8%, the first player in Finals history to reach those numbers.
