Seth Jones, a 26-year-old Texas native and son of former NBA forward Popeye Jones, led Blue Jackets defenseman this past season with 28 points (five goals and 23 assists). He made the NHL’s second All-Star team in 2017-18 after setting career highs in goals (16), assists (41) and points (57) with the Blue Jackets, and he played in four consecutive All-Star Games from 2017 to 2020.

“Flexible and adaptable will continue to be key,” Aponte added, noting that Goodell’s memo was vetted by people in a variety of NFL roles. “We are committed to playing a full season as scheduled. There is the no-play/no-pay provision (from 2020), which has been agreed to with the players’ association and will carry into this season.”
More recently, that growth has slowed, with frozen pizza sales down 9.5% during the three months ending July 3 compared with the same period last year. Overall frozen food sales declined, but sales of some products, like breakfast sandwiches, cinnamon rolls, meat alternatives and dessert bars rose.

The new figures released by the state Friday also showed an increase in the state’s case positivity rate, up to 3.5% from 1.9% last week. Hospitalizations in regions across the state also continue to show a slight increase, with the highest average in west central Illinois, roughly 10 hospitalizations per 100,000 people.
