Retail sales dipped a surprising 1.1% in July as consumers spent less on clothing, furniture and sporting goods. At the same time investors have been retreating from cruise lines, airlines and other travel-related stocks as those companies face another potential stall in activity as cases of COVID-19 surged because of the highly contagious delta variant.
Meanwhile, Daly’s lawyer, Thomas Needham, said his client is a decorated Chicago cop with numerous police department awards, including the Carter H. “The advantage of (rapid antigen tests) is they are quick and easy to use and give a result right away,” said Elizabeth McNally, director of the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine Center for Genetic Medicine. “So if a person feels they had an exposure, these tests can be done at home and give a quick result.”

“My sister’s a school teacher back in Union City, and she said it’s rampant in their school and they’re doing everything they can …,” Robinson said. “I think everybody’s doing everything they can to try to help it. And the biggest thing is the vaccination, because it does save lives.”
