Coan, who threw for 366 yards and four touchdowns in Notre Dame’s season-opening 41-38 overtime victory at Florida State on Sunday, shared playing time with true freshman Tyler Buchner. But Coan directed the three-play, 75-yard scoring drive, which took just 26 seconds with the aid of two Toledo penalties.

About 12:10 p.m., two men, ages 36 and 32, were inside a vehicle when a sedan approached and someone began to shoot in their direction. The older man was shot in the forehead, and was taken in critical condition to the University of Chicago Medical Center. The other man suffered a graze wound to the right side of the face, and went to the same hospital where his condition was stabilized, police said.
“His time is up from a quarantine perspective, so this will be the last time you guys have to talk to me,” Green said. “I told him I was going to go on a little two-day vacation, take it to the house and see you guys in Philly. The boy, who is not being named due to his age, was identified as the person who took a 54-year-old man’s vehicle by force Wednesday in the 200 block of West 22nd Place. He also was accused of taking a 39-year-old woman’s property Thursday in the 600 block of North LaSalle Drive, police said.
