“It’s challenging, it is,” he said Monday. “Last year was a little bit different because of a condensed schedule, a shortened training camp, trying to get Patrick (Williams) up to speed, not having a Summer League for him. There was a lot of things, and the number of games we were playing, it was so hard to practice. We had some guys go in and out last year, whether it be through COVID or injuries.

Rivian, which has more than 10,000 employees overall, plans to break ground on the Georgia plant next summer and begin producing the “next generation” of EVs by 2024. The plant will employ 7,500 workers with an eventual production capacity of 400,000 vehicles per year, Scaringe said. Until then, Rivian’s ambitions to become the Tesla of trucks will depend entirely on the production output at the Normal plant.

James Robert Elliott, 24, who also goes by “Jim Bob,” was charged in and indictment filed in U.S. District Court in Washington with six counts, including civil disorder, assault of a federal officer, entering a restricted building with a dangerous weapon, and carrying out an act of violence on Capitol grounds.

According to police in the statement, “fearing for his own safety, and the safety of other occupants inside the home,” the officer fired his gun, striking the individual around 8:50 p.m. Paramedics who were already at the home rendered aid, but the man was pronounced dead. A gun was recovered from the scene, police said.

“We talk about the depth each and every day and if things change, you know, I have essentially my board right here and we just start talking it through,” Tabor said. “We know who the people are that will be up and who is going to play and then obviously looking at their skill sets, those players if they are coming from the practice squad, obviously have been going against us all year. So, when we’re coaching our stuff in the room, I’m also coaching those guys also. Now, it might be, ‘Hey, I need you to do this because that’s how Green Bay or Minnesota does it,’ but watch this player right here. “We are always analyzing our data and particularly our outcomes,” Sills said. “We are looking at our protocols, together with our experts, together with the Players’ Association. We are looking at them to see how we achieve the safest possible environment for everyone and that causes us to need to constantly respond to adapt the protocols. And so clearly, with the emergence of this new variant, which, as I said, in many ways seems like a new disease, has been an opportunity to reevaluate every aspect of our protocols, and has led to some of the changes.
