Three people, including a 7-year-old boy, were shot in the Englewood neighborhood Monday afternoon, police said.
At approximately 5:45 p.m., a 19-year-old man, a 23-year-old woman and the boy were traveling in a vehicle heading westbound on 74th Street, according to a Chicago Police Department notification.

An unknown vehicle pulled up alongside the vehicle and shots were fired, striking all three individuals, the notification said.
The 19-year-old man was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition with a gunshot wound to the left leg. The 23-year-old woman was shot in the left hand and was also taken to U. of C. Medical Center in good condition, according to the notification.

The 7-year-old was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital with a gunshot wound to the left arm and is in good condition.
