Three people were wounded in a predawn drive-by shooting on the South Side in Chicago’s Fuller Park, Chicago police said.
Around 2:05 a.m., officers responded to a call of someone shot in the 4400 block of South Princeton Avenue and found three people struck by gunfire.
An unidentified male suffered a foot wound, a 36-year-old woman was shot twice in the left hand and an unidentified female suffered wounds to the torso, and was listed in critical condition. All three victims were taken to UChicago Medicine.
Witnesses at the scene said someone in a silver sedan opened fire before fleeing.
No one was in custody and detectives were investigating.
