2 victims found Monday night fatally wounded in Chatham apartment

Two male victims were found unresponsive Monday night inside of a Chatham apartment with gunshot wounds to the head, Chicago police said.

Around 11:15 p.m., officers responded to an apartment complex in the 900 block of East 80th Street and found two males who were discovered by a friend who alerted the police. Each victim appeared to have been shot in the head, police said.

Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

As of Tuesday morning, the victims had not been identified.

Detectives were investigating.
