The coroner’s office identified him as Mario Dailey, 25. The coroner’s office conducted an autopsy Monday morning and said results show that Dailey died of multiple gunshots.

Zion police found Dailey’s body at about 7:15 a.m. Saturday in a driveway off an alley in the 2900 block of Gabriel Avenue. Police responded after they received reports of an unresponsive man on the ground.

Dailey appeared to have suffered gunshot wounds, and Zion police called in the Lake County Major Crime Task Force to assist. The case remains under investigation.
