In recent months, several other Chicago-area Dart-designed homes have changed hands. In July, the four-bedroom, 3,262-square-foot steel, stone and glass house in Barrington Hills that Dart designed for himself in 1956 sold for $550,000, while in January, a four-bedroom, 3,498-square-foot Dart-designed house on Circle Lake in Lake Forest sold for $1.265 million. And a six-bedroom, 7,759-square-foot brick midcentury modern mansion in Lake Forest that is said to have been designed by Dart and was built in 1964 is on the market for $3.695 million.
