Mayor Lori Lightfoot, OEMC Executive Director Richard Guidice, Superintendent David Brown and Chicago Fire Department Commissioner Annette Nance-Holt will hold a press conference to speak about public safety ahead of the holiday weekend.
The press conference comes on the heels of a mass shooting Friday morning in the Loop that left two dead and three others wounded. And a Chicago police officer was shot and wounded responding to a domestic disturbance Friday morning.
