The death penalty is a possibility for both men, who met each other playing semi-pro football for the Illini Panthers team in the Mid States Football Association. That process, however, is expected to take several months to determine, said Assistant U.S. Attorney David Nozick, one of the three attorneys Nommay assigned to the case.
