Chicago police opened a death investigation after an unidentified female was found dead Tuesday in the driver’s seat of an abandoned vehicle on the South Side.
About 9:40 a.m., the vehicle was discovered in the 9400 block of South La Salle Street, police said.
Detectives were awaiting autopsy results.
