The Chicago White Sox showed off their new food options for the 2023 season Wednesday at Guaranteed Rate Field.

“Welcome back to baseball,” said Brooks Boyer, White Sox chief revenue and marketing officer.

As Boyer enthusiastically introduced the new menu items, he said that even though fans will see some additions, “all the standard staples” are staying this season.

The “gonzo garbanzo” sandwich is filled with seasoned chickpeas, red-pepper hummus, avocado, arugula and a massive tomato slice wrapped between two pieces of wheat berry bread. The sandwich is a vegan option for White Sox fans this season at Guaranteed Rate Field.

The White Sox will introduce slow-smoked rib tips this season for fans at Guaranteed Rate Field. The tips are covered in Hog Wild barbeque sauce and served with fresh coleslaw and a cornbread muffin. The Sox recently started working with Hog Wild, whose sauce also can be found on the new pulled pork sandwich.
