Niles library board hires former mayoral candidate at $100 per hour, drawing scrutiny from some trustees

Yasell, who ran for mayor of Niles in 2017 against incumbent Andrew Przybylo, maintains a Facebook page called Steven Yasell for Mayor of Niles. In an April 1 post he wrote, “I would like to give my full endorsement to the Niles-Maine District Library Trustee Candidates Joe Makula, Olivia Hanusiak, Steve Folga and Sue Schoenfeldt. These 4 NEW candidates, and only these 4.”
